Once scheduled, you will receive a complete Itinerary (at least a week in advance) outlining:
• Arrival Date and Length of visit (Median 1-3 days) depending on Hospital Size and Preliminary Needs Assessment
• Names/Title of The Samuels Group Team Members who will be completing the Analysis
•Specific Reports or Information Needed while on site (i.e. ER Transfer Logs, D/C Planning Info – ALOS/Pt.dys/DRG)
•Formal Request for a copy of your ECR
•Specific Meeting Requests with various Department Heads, Physicians, staff and Board Members (if needed)
•Possible program locations w/I existing physical plant and access to the drawings for such space
•Anything specific you would like us to consider and assess
Once the analysis is complete our Team will meet with you to share their initial thoughts on possible, current operational assessment and demonstrated community needs. If it is determined that a solid opportunity for growth, profitability and community enhancement exists, our team will work to bring the strategy to life through a Formal Proposal, including Pro forma and R.O.I. Forecasts. At this stage we return to present our findings to Your executive team (CEO, COO, CFO, CNO, CMO, anyone else you deem appropriate to attend). This is usually scheduled within 3-4 weeks of the analysis.
If a solid opportunity failed to present itself during the analysis you will be told at the end of our visit and we will return whenever you feel appropriate to explore other possibilities.
